Brahma hen

Behavior and character
Despite its size, the Brahma is a lovely, docile, and affectionate hen. A natural pet that loves to be cuddled. It is well suited for beginners or families. If you have children, this is the ideal hen.

They are not good cleaners, so they do not explore the ground much. But when hungry, they can bully their barnyard mates. However, due to their large size, they are usually relatively high in the pecking order, and therefore smaller breeds do not tend to bother them.
